Speaking of Scotland...

Here's a picture T & I took when we were in Scotland in 2005. Our tour bus was working it's way through the winding hills and we came upon these dudes playing the bagpipes. They, of course, knew that this road was heavily travelled by tourists and thought that it would be a nice place to pick up some extra change. We tourists were thrilled and thanked them for an amazing photo-op!

T had brought some money left over from when she visited England (years ago) as a student. She was more than happy to give a few coins to the fine chaps playing the bagpipes. Later, we found out that the coins T placed in their moneybox was no longer a valid currency!! I'm sure that when they went to count their earnings they were cursing "those damn Americans"!!

Sorry, boys!!

That is too funny...now there are a bunch of tourists that suppose that there are bagpipe-playing, kilt-wearing Scots roaming the hills all over Scotland!!
