Dropping the Ball...
er... I mean baton!
Both the men's and women's US 4 x 100 relay teams literally dropped the baton in the Olympics last night. It's sad to see great teams blunder on the fundamentals when competing... but it just goes to show you that they too are human... and mistakes can always be made!
Sorry that it had to happen when the stakes were so high and they were going for gold! :-(

Another one of the nation's natural wonders is gone. The Wall Arch in Arches National Park has crumbled.
I was fortunate enough to visit this arch last year during our camping trip out west. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to take in this beautiful sight before it was gone.

Love this Guy!!...
Joshua Allen became the last man standing on last night's "So You Think You Can Dance" finale! And although he may not have been the best dancer in the finals... you can't take away the fact that this kid has heart. This is a hip-hop guy that has had minimal dance training. But he tackled each and every dance genre with the grace and balance of a well-trained dancer.
He had this enduring quality about him... you would see this football-player-like guy... and then find out that here is a kid who is so graceful, sensitive, and grateful. That's rare!! Especially at 19 years old!
I wish him the best... he has a good head on his shoulders... and I hope that he makes the most of the wonderful opportunities that he has lying in front of him.
